David Davis and the Warrior River Boys appeared at the Glass City Opry, Maumee Ohio on October 12, 2009. The Monday evening show drew a good crowd, perhaps larger than I had expected. This may be due to Dave’s popularity in the area. The shows at Glass City have been going on for a while, perhaps the fan base for bluegrass in the area is more aware and watching for their favorite acts.
Obvious local favorites, Bridge County, opened the show with a half hour set.

Bradford Folk was “guesting” (David’s term) with the band in place of guitar player Adam Duke. Brad also sang a couple of songs, a real treat.

I sure hope we will have the opportunity to see the Warrior River Boys somewhere again soon!
